Shouldering the pain

We are often contacted to give advice about individuals care regarding which clothing options would best suit them and help them dress with ease.

Our research and background gives us insight into the impact conditions have on the body and associated impairments to  movement. Despite everyone being unique and individual, the struggles people have with dressing are much the same and very common!

A decrease in shoulder movement is one of the most common among people. The ability to move the arm in a forward motion is commonly still there, but to rotate the arm up, to the side or to the back becomes increasingly difficult and can be very painful!

The advantages of our adaptive vests are that they open at the shoulders and down the front providing
options to more easily (and painlessly) put the garment on yourself or others.

Dressing can actually be much easier and pain free!
